The conference is for everyone: For husbands, wives, parents, children, widows, and all single people. Through the word of God, we will grow in our appreciation for God’s wonderful gift of marriage and the family, and return to our homes encouraged and better equipped to lead faithful lives, regardless of the makeup of our family.
Rev. Dr. Peter Scaer is Associate Professor of New Testament at Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN, where he lives with his wife, Amy. His passions include the Gospel of Mark, and he loves to show how the life and teachings of Christ anticipate and form the life of the Church. He spends much of his free time driving his youngest son to and from band practice, while listening to books on tape.
Dr. Scaer is deeply involved in life issues and serves as President of Allen County Right to Life. He is a founding member of Shepherds United, and ecumenical Christian group formed to defend life, natural marriage and religious liberty. He speaks out on the issues that affect both our Church and society, always placing the focus on Christ, who gives us life and defines for us what is means to be truly human. He is uniquely gifted to speak on the subject of Marriage and the Family, and we are blessed to have him as our inaugural featured speaker.
This year's conference will take place on April 20th and 21st. Please download the 2018 Conference Brochure and send the completed registration form by email to email@example.com
